Olene Dancy, age 79, of Somerset, KY., passed away on Friday July 3, 2015 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born on November 10, 1935 in Quinton, KY., to the late Earl and Cassie Sexton Lovell.
She was of Baptist faith, a homemaker, and enjoyed cooking, boating, and spending time with family.
Olene was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Cassie Lovell, two brothers, Jack Lovell and Hollis Lovell, and two sisters, Bernice Lovell and Johanna Stephens.
She is survived by her husband, John Dancy of Somerset, KY; 2 stepdaughters, Penny Lynn Frazier of Morrow, OH; and Candy Jo Dancy of Somerset, KY; four brothers, Jimmy (and Ruby) of Bedford, IN; Jerry Lovell of Bloomington, IN; Phil (and Margie) Lovell of Nancy, KY; and Billy (and Carol Ann) Lovell of Tateville, KY; and three sisters, Barbara (and Kenneth) Woods of Somerset, KY; Janie (and Richard) Walden of Somerset, KY; and Audrey Sutton of Clarksville, TN.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday July 7, 2015 from 12pm to 1pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday July 7, 2015 at 1pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Jerry Chandler officiating.
Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
