Richard Mark Ping, age 49, of Somerset, KY., passed away on Sunday June 28, 2015 at his residence.
He was born on December 12, 1965 in Des Moines, Iowa to Marvin Richard and Sharon Kay Gruwell Ping. He was of Pentecostal Faith and enjoyed music.
Richard was preceded in death by grandparents; Edward and Marie Ping.
He is survived by his parents, Marvin and Sharon Ping of Somerset, KY; one sister, Sherri Dean (and Jim) Arnold of Somerset, KY; his grandparents, Ralph and Isabell Gruwell of Somerset, KY; and two nieces, Ashley Arnold and Carli Arnold.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday July 2, 2015 at 7pm at Cross Connection Church located at 1386 South Hwy 27 Somerset, KY 42501 with Bro. Herman Hamilton officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
