Anna Grace Gilmore, age 67, of Monticello, KY., passed away on Thursday May 28, 2015 at her residence.
She was born on July 21, 1947 in Kidder, KY to the late Sherman and Elsie (Bray) Morrow. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Grace was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” K. Gilmore of whom she married on October 10, 1964 in the Kidder Community, her parents, Sherman and Elsie Morrow, four brothers, Jackie Morrow, Floyd Morrow, Lloyd Morrow, and John Morrow, and three sisters, Pauline Morrow, Lena Phillips, and Irene Stump.
She is survived by two sons, James (and Connie) Gilmore of Somerset, KY. and William Patrick Gilmore of Somerset, KY, two daughters, Theresa (and Anthony) Laxton of Pine Knot, KY. and Lisa (and Jamey) Allen of Monticello, KY., four grandchildren, Kelsey (and Joe) Baker of Monticello, KY., Allison Cooper of Monticello, KY., Joseph Gilmore of Somerset, KY., and Brandon Laxton of Strunk, KY., four grea-grandchildren, Aiden Baker, Adriana Baker, Logan Baker, and Mistaya Gilmore, two brothers, Amos (and Chris) Morrow of Bean Station, TN. and Dallas Morrow of Monticello, KY., four sisters, Estelle (and Ora) Rush of Bedford, IN., Ruby Hammond of Monticello, KY., Lois Dixon of Monticello, KY., and Imogene Bell of Burnside, KY., and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday May 30, 2015 after 6pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held on Sunday May 31, 2015 at 12pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Harold Harris officiating.
Burial will follow in Whitis Cemetery.
