Lucille H. Shadoan, age 91, of Somerset, KY., passed away on Wednesday April 8, 2015 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born on April 13, 1923 in Somerset, KY to the late Frank and Martha “Mattie” Massey Hahn.
She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed cooking, country music, yard sales, and visiting friends.
Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, Fairvell Shadoan, her parents; Frank and Mattie Hahn, three sons; William F. Shadoan, Robert C. Shadoan, and Edward L. Shadoan, one grandson; Jamie Shadoan, five brothers; Rex Hahn, Lee Hahn, Bert Hahn, Joplin Hahn, and Ben Hahn and one sister; Edna Hahn.
She is survived by five sons; Jerry W. (and Rhonda) Shadoan of Somerset, KY., Larry G. Shadoan of Somerset, KY., Donald R. Shadoan of Somerset, KY., James A. “Bo” Shadoan of Somerset, KY., and Gary M. Shadoan of Somerset, KY., one daughter; Patricia (and David) Ferrell of Liberty, KY., twelve grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her best friend, Iva Burton of Lexington, KY.
Visitation will be held on Friday April 10, 2015 after 11am in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday April 10, 2015 at 1pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Gilbert Robinson and Bro. Jamie Epperson officiating.
Burial will follow in Mill Springs National Cemetery.
