Howard E. “Junior” Collins age 72 of the Cedar Grove Community passed away on Saturday April 11, 2015 at the Jean Waddle Care Center of Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on September 21, 1942 to James Turpin and Zella Turpin. He married Joyce Wood Collins of Somerset, KY on March 1, 2001.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife, sons, Charles “Chuck” (Kathy) Collins of Somerset, and Paul Miller of Newport Richey, Fla; daughters, Tamela Collins of Somerset, KY and Diane Castleberry of Newport Richey, Fla; grandsons, Michael Phelps, Aarron Collins, Miguel Rogue and Damon Seawright; granddaughter, Blaze Rogue, great-grandson, Caleb Collins and great-granddaughter, LilyAnn Collins; sisters, Juanita (Bob) Wilkerson of Paris, KY, Betty Foster of Somerset, KY and Lisa (David) Phelps of Somerset, KY; brothers, Steve (Kathy) Turpin and J.D. Turpin both of Somerset, KY and David Turpin of Orlando, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother; brothers, Wayne “Jim” Collins and Tim Turpin and grandson, Blake Stigall.
Private Services were held on Sunday April 12, 2015 in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
