Escolene Sublett, age 80, of Somerset, KY., passed away on Sunday April 5, 2015 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset, KY.
She was born on June 9, 1934 in Paintsville, KY., to the late Henry and Nancy Lemaster Franklin.
She attended First Baptist Church of Upper Sandusky, OH and enjoyed music and dancing.
She was a loving wife and companion for 63 years.
Escolene was preceded in death by her parents; Henry and Nancy Franklin, three brothers; Don Franklin, Henry Jr. Franklin, and Bob Franklin and two sisters; Francis Fraley and Bonnie Bowman.
She is survived by her husband; David Sublett of Somerset, KY., one son; Brian Sublett of Findlay, OH., one daughter; Charlotte (and David) Thompson of Somerset, KY., two grandchildren; Sara Grace Sublett (and Ryan Fausnaugh) of Findlay, OH., and Jacob David Sublett of Bowling Green, OH., one great-grandson; Miles Keith Fausnaugh, one sister; Augustine Holbrook of Cincinnati, OH., two brothers; Jerry Franklin and Jim Franklin, both of Marion, OH., two brother-in-laws; Roger (and Martha) Sublett of Star City, AK., and Morty (and Anetta) of Huber Heights, OH., and Roger (and Martha) Sublett of Star City, AK., and twenty three nieces and nephews who all loved her dearly.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday April 8, 2015 after 6pm in the Chapel of Southern Oak Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday April 9, 2015 at 11am in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Martin officiating.
Burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery.
