David Pell, age 79, of Somerset, KY., passed away on Wednesday April 1, 2015 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on August 22, 1935 in Monroe, Ohio to the late Harry Carwin and Gladys Mulloy Pell. He was was a retired Electrical Maintenance Man at Armco Steel in Middlestown, OH. He was a member and served as the Trustee at Harmony Fellowship Baptist Church. He was a member for 50 plus years with the Lincoln Masonic Lodge# 393 and the Grand Chapter of The Royale Arch Masons of Ohio Chapter# 87. He enjoyed carpentry work and was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
David was preceded in death by his parents; Harry and Gladys Pell and one sister; Dorothy Swartz.
He is survived by his wife; Hazel Farmer Pell of Somerset, KY., three daughters; Anita Vaughn of Clarksville, TN., Susan A. Pell of Nashville, TN., and Jennifer L. (and Roy) Heringer of Williamton, OH., one brother; Richard (and Nancy) Pell of Dandridge, TN., one sister; Hazel “Bunny” Condon of Trinton, OH., one brother-in-law; Bill (and Julie) Farmer of Carlisle, OH., one sister-in-law; Sandra Savelli of Somerset, KY., one aunt; Imogene Parker of Middleton, OH., nine grandchildren; Christie, Savannah, Heather, Kris, Timothy, Danielle, Justin, and Joel, and seven great-grandchildren; Nathan, Alyssa, Jennifer, Audria, Michael, Hunter, and Dustin.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday April 4, 2015 at 1pm at Harmony Fellowship Baptist Church located at 310 Lost Lodge in Burnside, KY with Bro. Adam Owens officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Building Fund of Harmony Fellowship Baptist Church P.O. Box 1456 Somerset, KY 42502.
