Douglas McKay Canada age 60 of Somerset, KY passed away on Wednesday March 18, 2015 at his residence.
He was born on May 19, 1954 in Covington, KY to William and Joan Fitzgerald Canada.
Douglas was of the Baptist faith. He was retired from Oakwood where he had worked as a Patient Aid and enjoyed fishing and watching basketball.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Canada and his parents, William and Joan Canada of Cinn. Ohio. One son, Charles (and Melissa) Canada of London, KY; two daughters, Stephanie (and Jason) Hutchinson of Somerset, KY and Raeann (and Cody) Bates of Somerset, KY; one brother, Joseph Michael Canada of Cinn, Ohio; one sister, Barbara Oswald of Westchester, Ohio; and three grandchildren, J.J. Hutchinson, Zachary Hutchinson and Kynsli Hutchinson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday March 22, 2015 after 11am in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday March 22, 2015 at 2pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Dudley Bryant officiating.
Burial will follow in the Burnside Cemetery.
