Charlotte Flynn Davis, age 64, of Somerset, KY passed away on Wednesday March 11, 2015 at UK Hospital.
She was born on November 18, 1950 in Cincinnati, OH to the late Boyd and Grace Waters Flynn. Charlotte was the Co-owner and Operator of Avalon Psychological Center in Somerset, KY. She was of Christian Faith, a graduate of Kent School of Social Work from the University of Louisville, KY where she obtained her Master’s Degree as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and received her certification as an alcohol and drug counselor. She enjoyed traveling, especially with her family, and was a UK Basketball fan. She enjoyed art, visiting Art Museums, music, Genealogy, and spending time with her family, children, and grandchildren.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents; Boyd and Grace Flynn and one granddaughter; Kelsey Chriswell.
She is survived by her husband; Edwin Davis, one son; Chad (and Amy) Davis of Somerset, KY., two daughters; Karla Davis of Somerset, KY. and Kelly (and Kasey) Chriswell of Harrodsburg, KY., three brothers; Frank (and Donna) Flynn of Somerset, KY., Michael (and Sherry) Flynn of Bronston, KY., and Timothy (and Anita) Flynn of Burnside, KY., four sisters; Sharon (and John) Evans of Savannah, GA., Kathleen Young of Bronston, KY., Kristine (and Steven) Matthews of Savannah, GA., and Rebecca (and Dennis) Nartker of Somerset, KY., six grandchildren; Carly Davis, Ryan Davis, Ian Davis, Evan Davis, Collin Chriswell, and Connor Chriswell, and several beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday March 13, 2015 after 6pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday March 14, 2015 at 10:30am with Bro. Perry Dobbs officiating.
Burial will follow in Burnside Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan in C/O of Southern Oaks Funeral Home 2110 West Hwy 914 Somerset, KY 42503.
