Jack Edward Johnson, age 82, of Somerset, KY passed away on Thursday February 19, 2015 at Somerset Nursing and Rehab Center.
He was born on September 30, 1932 in Grays, KY to the late Martin and Cora Warren Johnson.
He was a retired home builder and enjoyed watching UK Basketball.
Jack is preceded in death by parents; Martin and Cora Johnson, two brothers; Steve Johnson and George Johnson, and one sister; Carrie Watkins.
He is survived by his wife; Alma Smith Johnson, one son; Jackie (and Anna) Johnson of Somerset, KY., three daughters; Kim Burton of Somerset, KY., Sharon Haynes of Somerset, KY., and Tana Johnson of Somerset, KY., two brothers; Charles (and Wanda) Johnson of Keavey, KY. and James (and Lavina) Johnson of Keavey, KY. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday February 22, 2015 from 12pm to 2pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held on Sunday February 22, 2015 at 2pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Ernie Wyatt officiating.
Burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery.
