Betty Jo Bolze, age 81, of Lexington, KY., formerly of Somerset, passed away on Sunday January 4, 2015 at her residence.
She was born on June 16, 1933 in Pound, Virginia to the late Curtis Wade Sr. and Maxine Johnson Kennedy.
Betty attended First United Methodist Church of Somerset, KY.
She enjoyed and loved to play Bridge. She also loved to knit and yarn.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Curtis and Maxine Kennedy, two sons; Kevin Jerome Bolze and Scott Douglas Bolze, and one brother; Curtis Wade Kennedy Jr.
She is survived by two sons; Jeffrey Bruce Bolze of Somerset, KY. and Arthur John Jr. (Karen) Bolze of Somerset, KY., one sister-in-law; Barbara Kennedy of Richmond, VA., two nephews, two nieces, two grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday January 10, 2015 at 1pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held on Saturday January 10, 2015 at 2pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Pulaski County Public Library, the Pulaski County Animal Shelter, or Burnside United Methodist Church.
