Sharon “Kaye” Harris, age 67 of Nancy, KY., passed away on Saturday October 11, 2014 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center.

She was born on June 6, 1947 in Somerset, KY., to the late Killis and Kathleen Kissee Pyles.

Sharon was a homemaker and a sales associate at Walmart for 20 plus years. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church #2. She enjoyed needle work, gardening, flowering, and taking care of her grand animals.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Killis and Kathleen Pyles, a son-in-law, Gary Helton, and a sister, Carolyn Pyles.

She is survived by her husband, Brother Larry Harris, whom she married on April 2, 1966 in Williamsburg, KY. One son, Brian Harris of Eli, KY., one daughter, Michelle Helton of Nancy, KY., one sister, Lucille (Bro. Murriel) Crockett of Somerset, KY., several brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday October 14, 2014 after 6pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday October 15, 2014 at 1pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Brother Bill Meece and Brother Lester Caldwell officiating.

Burial will follow in the Southern Oaks Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland and the Gideon Memorial Bible Fund.
