Conrad Benjamin Cordell, age 66 of Bronston, KY. passed away on Saturday October 4, 2014 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on October 6, 1947 in Whitley City, KY to the late Dallas Cordell and Marie Elsie Ball Cordell Wagner.
Conrad was a retired Proto Type Machinist and was of Christian Faith. He enjoyed Nascar and Drag racing and was the former owner and operator of SS-350 Racing.
He is preceded in death by his Father and Stepmother, Dallas (Priscilla) Cordell, his Mother and Stepfather, Marie (Jim) Wagner and one brother, Jeff Cordell.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Jones Cordell, one son, Benjamin Cordell of Cincinnati, OH, one daughter, Lori Ann (David) Wright of Roanoke, VA., two brothers, Dallas Houston Cordell of Bronston, KY., and Jimmy Wagner of Corbin, KY., three sisters, Ginny (Mike) Nixon of Monroe NC., Carroll (Rick) Liming of Cincinnati, OH., and Edwina Curly Cordell of Bronston, KY., three grandchildren, Matthew Wright, Cody Wright, and Dylan Cordell, four great grandchildren, a Mother-in-law, Joyce Ruth Mays Jones of Stearns, KY., and a Sister-in-law, Judy Lynn (Tom) Carlton of Norwood, OH.
Visitation will be held on Friday October 10, 2014 after 12pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday October 10, 2014 at 3pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Military Honors provided by the American Legion Post #38.
Burial will be in Southern Oaks Cemetery.
