Clara Lou “Jug” Ping age 82 of Ferguson, KY passed away on Wednesday September 24, 2014 at her residence.
She was born in Ahab, KY on December 29, 1931 to the late Lawrence and Ella Jones Farmer Silvers.
Clara was a member of Ferguson United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for years. She loved cats and loved spending time with her grandson.
She is preceded in death by her husband; Chester Ping, her parents; Lawrence and Ella Farmer, and one brother; Louie Farmer.
She is survived by her daughter; Michelle (Danny) Cline of Somerset, KY., one sister; Lola Belle Mounce of Somerset, KY., one grandchild; Dakota Cline of Somerset KY., and a dear friend; Anna Cline of Somerset, KY.
Visitation will be held on Saturday September 27, 2014 after 12pm in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday September 27, 2014 at 2pm in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Brother Ed Parton officiating.
Burial will follow in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens.
