Susan Marie Ellis Rodriguez age 57 of Somerset, Ky. passed away on Saturday August 23, 2014 at UK Chandler Hospital in Lexington, Ky.
She was born on February 24, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Richard and Patricia Radloff Ellis.
Susan was of Christian Faith. She enjoyed listening to music, spending time with family, and enjoyed sunflowers and daisies.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Richard and Patricia Ellis, one brother; Michael Ellis and two sisters; Patti Ellis and Judy Atkins.
She is survived by her husband; Nelson F. Rodriguez Jr., Two sons; Ethan (Cassie) Rodriguez of Science Hill, Ky., and Grayson (Alicia) Rodriguez of Fort Wright, Ky., One daughter; Jessica (Nathan) Morris of Georgetown, Ky., Two brothers; Butchie (Virginia) Ellis of Dixon, Illinois and Donnie (Pat) Ellis of Cicero, Illinois, One sister; Carol Ellis of Ottawa, Illinois, Four grandchildren; Darwin Rodriguez, Elliot Rodriguez, Sophia Morris, and Madelyn Rodriguez, and her Mother-in-Law and Father-in-Law; Daniel and Virginia Gonzalez of Ocean Springs, Mississippi.
Visitation will be held on Saturday August 30, 2014 after 2pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
