Don T. Turner age 58 of Somerset, Ky. passed away on Sunday August 17, 2014 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on May 28, 1956 in Pulaski Co. Ky. to the late Robert and Lola Katherine Burdine Turner.
Don was a member of the Rock Lick Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, golfing and reading westerns.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lola Turner and one brother, Bobby Turner.
He is survived by his wife, Genevieve Turner of Somerset, Ky. Two sons, Darrin (and Trisha) Turner of Lexington, Ky. and Scott Turner of Science Hill, Ky. One daughter, Rachel Turner of Somerset, Ky. Three brothers, Ronnie (and Diane) Turner of Eubank, Ky., Bill (and Barbara) Turner of Berea, Ky. and Eddie Turner of Eubank, Ky. Two sisters, Mary Todd of Eubank, Ky. and Teresa (and Jeff) Dotty of Georgetown, Ky. Also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Harold and Joann Colyer of Somerset, Ky.
Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday August 19, 2014 at 4:30pm at the Chaney Cemetery with Bro. Chuck Polland officiating.
Visitation will begin at 4pm at the Chaney Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Don T. Turner Memorial Fund.
Southern Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
