Opal Christine Craig, Age 86, of the Goochtown Community of Eubank, KY passed away Thursday, November 8, 2012 at her residence.
She was the daughter of the late Brian Henry and Eva Ann Littrell Reynolds. She was a seamstress for Mercer Dress and Cowdens of Stanford, KY whom loved sewing, piecing quilts, and gardening. She was a member of the Goochtown Church of Christ and loved visiting with her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, J.S. Craig, Jr.; her parents, Brian Henry and Eva Ann Littrell Reynolds; brothers, Kenneth and Glen Reynolds; sisters, Irene Dillingham, Dorothy Francis Reynolds, and twin infant sisters.
She is survived by two sons, Johnny (and Louise) Craig and Jerry Craig, all of Eubank, KY; grandchildren, Jeffery (and Alice) Craig, Jessie (and Megan) Calhoun, Johnathan (and Cassie) Calhoun; great grandchildren, Joshua Craig, Kendra Corder, Janson Craig and Jordan Craig, Brandon Dunbar, and Presley Rain Calhoun.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 11, 2012 after 12 Noon at the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Sunday, November 11, 2012 at 2:30pm at the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Gerald Carter officiating.
Burial will be in the Liberty Church Cemetery, Eubank, KY.
