Diana Mae Sears, age 79 of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 23, 2026 at 12:23 a.m. at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Diana was born on October 12, 1946 to the late Ila Haste. Diana was a graduate of Shopville High School Class of 1963 and worked for KMART as Office Manager for many years.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis Adkins. She is survived by her husband, Samuel L. Sears of Somerset; two children, Terri Allen of Lexington, KY and Kevin Ray (Angela) Sears of Somerset; three grandchildren, Samuel Ray Sears of Covington, KY, Haley (Dillon) Peterman of Georgetown, KY, and Emery Allen of Lexington, KY; one great-grandchild, Terrah Peterman; one sister, Gina (John) Moore of Lexington, KY; and several other family members and friends that loved her dearly.
Graveside services will be Friday, October 30, 2026 at 2:30 p.m. at Mill Springs National Cemetery with Bro. Rick Adkins officiating.
