Jimmy Allen McCalister, age 60 of Somerset, Ky. passed away on Saturday June 7, 2014 in Louisville, Ky.
He was born on April 14, 1954 in Somerset, Ky. to Patricia McKinney McCalister and the late Delvis “Lou” McCalister.
Jimmy was a member of the Sinking Valley Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his father, Delvis “Lou” McCalister and two aunts, Ruby Mink and Pauline Harper.
His is survived by his mother, Patricia McCalister. One daughter, Tracy (Junior) Slagle of Monticello, Ky.; a sister Karen Sue Wallace of Bethelridge, Ky.; a nephew Gary Lee Wallace of Bethelridge, Ky; a grandson Connor Ray Slagle; two aunts Beverly (Dale) Meece of Somerset, Ky. and Bonnie (David) Stevens of Eubank, Ky.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 10, 2014 after 6pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday June 11, 2014 at 1pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Bullock officiating.
Burial will be in the McCalister-Chaney Cemetery.
Southern Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
