Denver Oval Casada, of Bronston, Kentucky, passed from this life on April 30, 2026, due to complications from a fall. He was born on March 23, 1928, in Kidder, Kentucky, to the late Clint and Charity Casada.
On May 20, 1950, Denver married Violet Verdena Morrow. Verdena preceded him in death in 2019. Together, they had four children: Gary (Joyce), Bonnie Waltz, Leland (Leanne), and Judy Casada.
In addition to his parents and wife, Denver was preceded in death by four brothers, Chester, Ray, Marvin, and Starlin Casada; two sisters, Euetta Keith and Ruby Whan; and his son-in-law, John Waltz.
He is survived by his brothers, Bobby (Hilda) and Boyd (Brenda) Casada; his sister, Joyce Nicholas; his sister-in-law, Frieda Casada; and his brothers-in-law, Luid Morrow, and William Silvers.
Denver leaves behind grandchildren: Sheila Waltz Albertson, Aaron Waltz, Erica Casada, Lucas Casada, Brian Casada, Jessica Hisle, Dusty Huff, and Leah Duncan, as well as several great-grandchildren.
Denver was a lifelong member of Liberty Baptist Church in Kidder. Denver was a Master Mason of the Burnside Lodge.
Denver will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 from 11am-1pm in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service will begin at 1pm with Bro. Granville “Ziggy” Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Cemetery in Kidder, Kentucky.
Masonic rites will be conducted by Burnside Masonic Lodge #634. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Denver Oval Casada.
