Lloyd Roger Bryant
April 12, 1945 – November 29, 2025
Lloyd Roger Bryant, 80, of Whitley City, Kentucky, passed away on November 29,
2025, at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Born in Marshes Siding,
Kentucky, on April 12, 1945, he was the son of the late Billie Bryant and the late
Mary E. Vanover Bryant.
He was married to the late Wilda Lois Foster Bryant until her passing in 2021, and
is survived by his only child, daughter Karen Lynn Bryant of Whitley City, Kentucky.
Mr. Bryant served honorably in the United States Air Force before beginning a
career as a car hauler with Allied Systems in Dearborn, Michigan, where he
worked for approximately 40 years. He enjoyed meeting annually with retired
coworkers to share lunch and fellowship, and he also enjoyed spending time on
the lake.
Special thanks are extended to Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington for the
exceptional care and kindness shown to him during his final days. He recently left
several voice messages to his family that reflected his remembrance of his family
and expressed his feelings. These words offered a glimpse into his reflections near
the end of his life.
Cremation has been chosen, in accordance with his wishes.
