Delores Francis Barber Voiles age 90 passed away on May 28, 2014 at the Somerwoods Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on June 8, 1923 to the late John Frank and Ruth Ashley Barber. Mrs. Voiles attended Neeley’s Creek Baptist Church.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, sister in law, Anna Mae Barber; a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Mrs. Voiles will be dearly missed by all these who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Orville Cecil “Bud” Voiles; sisters, Ima Ilene (John Finn) Adams and Mary Christine (Gene) Proffitt; brothers, Vertle Lewis Barber, James Barber, Ezra Newel (Maxine) Barber, Norman Gene Barber.
Visitation of Mrs. Voiles will be Sunday June 1, 2014 from 9:00-11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 11:00 A.M. with Bro. Jerry Frye officiating. Interment will be in the Green Hill Cemetery, Etowah, Tennessee.
