Arthur Lee Johnson, age 61 of Burnside, Kentucky, passed from this life on Friday, September 12, 2025.
He was born on July 13, 1964, in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, son of the late Harold Johnson and Della Burgman.
He was a self-employed handyman and a member of Grave Hill United Baptist Church. He enjoyed woodworking. Building cedar boxes and walking canes are what he enjoyed the most. Arthur was also known for always helping others and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister, Charlotte Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Brown Johnson; sons, Bryan (Alicia) Johnson of Fowlerville, Michigan, Chris (Mallery) Johnson of Michigan, Frank (Tabitha) Williamson of Somerset and Charles Williamson of Burnside; daughters, Katherine (Pete) Stathopoulos of Texas, April Burton of Richmond and Jewell (Bobby) Hicks of Monticello; brothers, Walter Anthony Blanton of Bonnesboro, Kentucky, Bodean (Penny) Johnson of Burnside, Roger Johnson of Somerset, Darrell (Drucella) Johnson of Shopville and Rex (Lynn) Johnson of Michigan; numerous grandchildren and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will begin at 3:00 P.M. on Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at 5:00 P.M. on Tuesday at the funeral Home with Bro. Mike Cox officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Arthur Lee Johnson Memorial Fund.
