Pamela Jean Arms, age 53 of Somerset, Ky. passed away on Monday, April 21, 2014 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born on May 29, 1960 in Syracuse NY.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Somerset, KY. She was a homemaker and loved crafts, gardening, lawn work, crocheting, ceramics and growing flowers.
She is survived by her parents, William and Audrey Strough of Somerset, her husband who is Ralph Arms of Somerset, four sisters Christine (Samuel) Pruett of Somerset, Debra Radish of Somerset, Laureen Tower of Somerset and Cheryl (Fahron) Wilson of Knoxville, Tn. One niece, Amy Wilson and seven nephews, Daniel Pruett, Jason Pruett, Samuel Pruett III, Ryan Pruett, Michael Wilson, John Wilson and Will Wilson. One great nephew and seven great nieces. Special friends, Deanna, Ashley and Randy Wahlman of Somerset and Tommy Barnett.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 23, 2014 after 5 P.M. and after 8 A.M. Thursday, April 24, 2014 in the Memory Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 11 A.M. in the Memory Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Brother Chuck Aden officiating.
Burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery.
Pall bearers will be Daniel Pruett, Jason Pruett, Ryan Pruett, Michael Wilson, John Wilson and Will Wilson. Honorary pall bearers will be Samuel Pruett III, Tommy Barnett, and Randy Wahlman.
In lieu of flowers, the family request expressions of sympathy be made to the American Cancer Society, Hospice of Lake Cumberland or the Humane Society.
