John Gibson, age 72, of Somerset, KY passed away Thursday March 13, 2014 at Cumberland Nursing Home.
He was born in Peoria, Illinois to the late George Sr. and Ruby Pearl Gent Gibson.
George was a farmer and worked in the stockyards.
He is preceded in death his parents and two sisters, Charlene Smith and Shirley Whaley.
He is survived by one brother, George (Joyce) Gibson Jr. of Peoria, Illinois and one sister, Georgia (Jack) Falatko of Bancroft, Nebraska.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date by the family.
Southern Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangments.
