BriLee Kay Putteet, age 17 of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at her home.
She was born on December 15, 2007 in Lexington, Kentucky to Brian Lee Putteet and Melissa Kay Washburn.
BriLee was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church. She was a student at Southwestern High School where she played fast pitch softball and worked at Wings and Rings. She enjoyed dancing, loved trucks, country music, animals and her friends and family. BriLee was loved by everyone that knew her.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Jerry Myer Putteet, Jr., Norma Dean Childers Putteet and Morris Washburn; and uncle, Jerry Todd Putteet.
She is survived by her father, Brian Lee Putteet of Somerset, mother, Melissa Kay Washburn of Somerset, stepmother, Tonya Sprinkles of Somerset; Grandmother, LaDonna Sykes of Columbus, Ohio; aunts, Kristina P. Smith (Jimmy) of Somerset and Melissa R. Putteet (Jack New) of Somerset and Kimberly Grant of Dayton, Ohio; brother, Matthew Lee Putteet of Lexington; sisters, MacKenzie Elizabeth Putteet (Nik Shultz) of Georgetown and Lilee Ellen Alexander of Somerset; niece, Sadie Mae Schultz.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 21, 2025 at Oak Hill Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Oak Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Alan Fisher and Bro. Jason Conley officiating. Burial will be in Kingtown Cemetery in Strunk, KY.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the BriLee Kay Putteet Memorial Fund, C/O Southern Oaks Funeral Home.

My God comfort and bless the Putteet family now in in the days to come as they process the loss of their precious loved one.
I pray for comfort for the entire family after learning of these tragic deaths. Beautiful Brilee was so young! We never know when our time to leave this life will come…. but we know it WILL come! May we be ready. I pray that she is in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
