Kim Tarter, age 47 of Somerset, KY passed away on Friday February 7, 2014 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born on April 16, 1966 in Midland, TX to Janice Stephens Tarter of Somerset, KY.
Kim was a Transporter for R-TEC for fifteen years and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Alonzo and Mary Stephens and John and Gertrude Tarter.
She is survived by her mother. One daughter, Ashley Tarter of Somerset, KY. One brother, Byron (Penny) Brown of Somerset, KY and one sister, Loretta (Tiger) Robinson of Somerset, KY. One uncle, Danny (Clarene) Stephens of Nancy, KY and four aunts, Debbie (Darrell) Cain, Birtha (Dale) Burton, Pam (Darrell) Burton and Dianna Pitman all of Nancy, KY. She is also survived by two nephews, Kyle Flynn and Hunter Brown. One niece, Leanna Robinson. One great-nephew, Mazen Flynn and a special friend who was like a sister, Teresa Chumbley of Russell Springs, KY.
Visitation will be held on Monday February 10, 2014 after 11am in the Memory Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday February 10, 2014 at 1pm in the Memory Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Gilbert Robinson officiating.
Burial will follow in Lakeside Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
