Carlene G. Willis, age 62, of Monticello, Kentucky passed from this life on Monday, January 20, 2025 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
Carlene was born on September 4, 1962 to the late Leonard Forrest Jones and Flora Martin Jones in Amherst, Ohio.
She enjoyed her cats and dogs.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Flora Jones and a sister, Ina Louise Jones.
Carlene leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Brian K. Willis, daughter Tabitha Roberts (Dwayne) of Kansas City, MO; brothers: Bobby Jones (Debra) of Tampa, FL; Kevin Jones and Eddie Jones (Linda) all of Amherst, OH; Lenvil Jones of Vermillion, OH; sisters: Enola Haynes (Jimmy) of South Amherst, OH; Velma Dunn (Troy) of Lorain, OH; grandchildren: Keith Roberts (Breanna), David Roberts, Carlie Tague (Kenny) and great-grandchild, August Tague.
There will be no services at this time.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society. Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
Brian and family, I’m so sorry to hear of Carlene passing. I worked many nights with her. Carlene was a good person.
My thoughts and Prayers are with all the family during this sad time … Carlene was a joy to be around always laughing and joking and so much fun…. My fondest memories of her was when I was just a little girl and her and Uncle Forrest and Aunt Flora wld come down to Mamaw Hazel’s for a visit… I always looked forward to all her brother’s and sisters coming down as well …. I love y’all very much ❤️

So sorry hearing this news. Carlene was an awesome lady. She was a great worker and gave everything 100%! Occasionally I would run into her or just check in with her by phone. She always had a smile on her face. Her laugh & Sass would brighten anyone’s day. Prayers for friends & family. I’m so sorry for your loss.
