Walter Grundy Jr., age 65 of Somerset, KY passed away Saturday January 4, 2014 at Rockcastle Regional Hospital.
He was born on July 21, 1948 in Stearns, KY to the late Walter Sr. and Lessie Roberts Grundy.
Walter was a former truck driver and of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed watching westerns.
He is preceded in death by his parents. Three brothers, Roger Grundy, Bill Grundy, Phillip Grundy and one sister, Rebecca Neal.
He is survived by one son, James Grundy of Somerset, KY. Two daughters, Anna Grundy and Kim Giagunto both of Somerset, KY. One brother, Larry Grundy of Burnside, KY. Three grandchildren, Hunter Brumley, Destiny Johnson, Tosha Johnson and two great-grandchildren, Heaven and Ebbony.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 7, 2014 after 6pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday January 8, 2014 at 11am in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Steven Griffis officiating.
Burial will follow in the Gravehill Cemetery.
