Mrs. Sibyl Elaine Stout, age 75 of Somerset, KY., daughter of the late Clyde Simeck and Ruby Perry Simeck, was born in Ferndale , Michigan on September 20, 1938.
She departed this life Wednesday January 8, 2014 at the Jean Waddle Hospice Care Center.
Other than her parents, Sibyl was preceded in death by her brother Paul Simeck on December 7, 1996.
She is survived by her husband, Harlan Stout of Somerset, KY., whom she married on December 19, 1959. One daughter, Sherry Watkins and son-in-law, Bart Watkins of Ferguson, KY. Two grandchildren, Heather Watkins and Brian Watkins and one great-granddaughter, Ashlyn Davis.
Sibyl was a wonderful wife, mother and homemaker and a member of Ferguson Baptist Church.
A private funeral service was held on Thursday January 9, 2014 at the Sloans Valley Cemetery with Bro. David Muse officiating.
Southern Oaks Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
