Larry Denney, age 65 of Eubank, KY passed away on Friday January 31, 2014 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center.
He was born on January 28, 1949 in the Woodstock Community of Pulaski Co. KY to the late Fred and Goldie White Denney.
Larry was a retired ER Technician with 35 years service at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. He enjoyed his grandchildren, going to the creek, riding around and hunting with his grandsons.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jess Marler.
He is survived by his wife, Carrie Brassfield Denney, whom he married on July 2, 1996 in Somerset, KY. One son, Jason (Erica) Denney of Eubank, KY. Two step-sons, Adam (Denise) Campbell of Laurel Co., KY and Shawn (Linda) Campbell of London, KY. Two brothers, Junior (Jerri) Denney of Naples, FL and Vernon (Ellen) Denney of Waynesburg, KY. Three sisters, Fern Prowles of Mt. Vernon, KY, Dalphe Winkler of Winchester, KY and Mary (Robert) Cahill of Somerset, KY. Brother-in-law, Robert Brassfield of W.Va. and sister-in-law, Jean Carr of Wilmore, KY. Six grandchildren, Jake Denney, Blake Denney, Haley Denney, Holly Denney, Shania Campbell and Akaia Campbell. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday February 3, 2014 from 4pm-7pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Monday February 3, 2014 at 7pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Dr. Joe Weigel and Bro. Lester Randolph officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center.
