Judy Polson, age 56 of the Slate Branch Community passed away on Monday January 27, 2014 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
She was born on March 4, 1957 in the Allen Branch Community of Pulaski Co. KY to the late Arnold and Opal Mitchell Morrow.
Judy was a member of the Old Fashion Faith Baptist Church and worked as a CNA for 35 years at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She enjoyed music, dancing, watching tv and loved the Rolling Stones.
She is preceded in death by her parents. One brother, Harold Lee Morrow and three sisters, Mattie Williams, Mary Preston and Bernice Shelton.
She is survived by her husband, Danny Polson, whom she married on November 19, 1975. Two brothers, Richard Morrow of Somerset, KY and Russell (Mary Jane) Morrow of Bronston, KY. Two sisters, Eutta Phelps of Somerset, KY and Charlene (Tony) Hall of Bronston, KY. Also survived by an aunt, Brenda Taylor of Bourbon Road and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday January 30, 2014 after 6pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday January 31, 2014 at 2pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Riddle officiating.
Burial will follow in the Southern Oaks Cemetery.
