Troy K. Gadberry, age 58 of Nancy, Kentucky passed from this life on Monday, September 2, 2024 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
He was born on June 17, 1966 in Somerset, Kentucky, son of Wendell and Verna Decker Gadberry. He was a self-employed roofer and of the Baptist faith. Troy enjoyed racing, being outdoors, hunting and fishing. He loved the country life listening to his rooster crowing and his dog barking. Troy loved to see everybody have a good time.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Arvis and Lola Gadberry and his maternal grandfather, Osburn Decker.
He is survived by his parents; his son, Travis Gadberry of Somerset; like a son, Jeffrey Rose; brother, Tony (Rachel) Gadberry of Jabez; his maternal grandmother, Pauline Decker; a special niece, Natalie (Ben) Williams; great-nephew, Nate Williams, Anthony Lambert and Ashton Lambert; great-niece, Aubrey Lambert; and a host of friends and family.
According to his wishes cremation was chosen; A private service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in his honor to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
