Dewey Wayne Mounce, Age 72 of Somerset, Ky passed away Thursday December 19, 2013 at his residence.
He was born on October 17, 1941 in the Ruth Community in Pulaski Co. KY to the late George Matthew and Lilly Mae Meece Mounce.
He was a former truck driver and a member of Denham Street Baptist Church. Dewey enjoyed fishing, hunting and truck driving.
He is preceded in death by his parents. Three sisters, Josephine Mounce, Loraine Mounce and Ruth Ester Whitis. Seven brothers, Jackie Mounce, Clemon Mounce, Clovis Mounce, Carlon Mounce, Nolan Mounce, Lyman Mounce and Vernie Mounce.
He is survived by four daughters, Merrlynn Kay (Ronald) Cook of Somerset, KY, Debbie Mounce of Somerset, KY, Tina (Keith) Gausteneau of Eubank, KY and Patti Sue (Matt) McCormick of Lakemoor, Illinois. One son, Matthew Mounce of Somerset, KY. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. His neighbor and friend, Jimmy Bolin of Somerset, KY also survives.
Visitation will be held on Monday December 23, 2013 after 11am in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday December 23, 2013 at 1pm in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. David Muse and Bro. Jeff Griffith officiating.
Burial will follow in the Clay Hill Cemetery.
