Mr. Larry Wayne “LJ” Johnson, of Somerset, Kentucky departed on March 1, 2024 at his residence being 67 years, 6 months and 22 days of age.

Larry was born in London, Kentucky on August 8, 1956 to the late Ted Johnson and late Lorene Goforth of London, Kentucky.

He was of the Holliness faith. He loved to listen to music and loved spending quality time with his family and friends.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories, one brother Rick (Norma) Floyd of Somerset, Ky, daughter, Angela McWhorter of London, Ky; one granddaughter, Kaitlyn Wallace of Morehead, Ky; two grandsons, Jordan and Brandon Wagers of London, Ky; along with a host of family and friends to mourn his passing.

A Memorial service will be planned at a later date. The family of Mr. Larry Wayne “LJ” Johnson has entrusted Southern Oaks Funeral Home with the arrangements.
