Ruth Lee Kidd, age 65 of Somerset passed away on Saturday October 19, 2013 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. Mrs. Kidd was born on December 6, 1947 in Somerset to the late Albert and Essie Stevens Burdine. She attended the Mt. Hebron Baptist Church.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Chester Kidd who she married in April of 1969 in Wayne County; son, Jeffrey Wayne (Phyliss) Kidd of Somerset; daughter, Vickie (Mike) McQueary of Somerset; brother, Donnie (Deborah) Burdine of Somerset; Grandchildren, Michael Seth McQueary, Jessie Lee Kidd, Grant Rutherford, Trent Rutherford.
Mrs. Kidd is preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be Tuesday October 22, 2013 in the Chapel of Southern Oaks from 11 A.M. to Noon.
Funeral Services will follow at noon with Pastor. Dustin York officiating.
Interment will be in the Southern Oaks CemeterySouthern Oaks Funeral Home Entrusted with the arrangements.
