Josef Cornelius Lee “JC” Phillippi Age 37 of Somerset, Ky. passed away Friday September 6, 2013.
He was born on October 24, 1975 in Louisville, Ky. to Don Phillippi of Somerset, Ky. and Dottie Ostrander Thornton of New York.
He attended Elrod Church of God and was a member of High St. Baptist Church. Also loved to fish and enjoyed other outdoor activities, spending time with his family and loved Science.
He is survived by his parents. His wife Jaymee Loveless Phillippi, whom he married on March 12, 1997 in Somerset, Ky. Two sons, Josh (Sabrina) Phillippi of Muncie, In. and Cayden Phillippi of Somerset, Ky. Two daughters, Jaycee Phillippi and Jaylee Phillippi of Somerset, Ky. Mother in law and Father in law, Janice and Eugene Loveless of Somerset, Ky. and Raymond and Sharon Stigall of Monticello, Ky. One brother, Tracy “TJ” Phillippi of Somerset, Ky. Two sisters, Sarina (Jim) Bechtold of Lakemoor, Illinois and Veronica “Roni” Phillippi of Somerset, Ky. Two uncles, Gene (Judy) Phillippi and Parker Phillippi of Somerset, Ky. Five aunts, Wanda (Lester) Smiley of Florence, Ky., Ann Silvers of Somerset, Ky., Sue Sutton of Somerset, Ky., Margie (Kelly) Garner of New Castle, In., and Kathy (Charles) Randolph of Somerset, Ky. Seven nieces, Krista, Christian, Sierra, Madison, Mandy, Megan, and Alexandria “Lexi”. Two nephews, Christopher “Topher” and Rylee. Two special cousins, Chris and Chad and a host of other special family and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday September 10, 2013 after 5pm in the Serenity Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday September 11, 2013 at 11am in the Serenity Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Hall and Bro. Eric Barnes officiating.
Burial will be in the Woodstock Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Roger Worley, Jason Pierce, David Tuggle, T.J. Phillippi, Chris Randolph and Chad Randolph. Honorary Pallbearers are Cory Gentry and Micky Calhoun.
Southern Oaks Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
