Sheila K. New Shadoan, daughter of the late Rea Silas and Alpha Dalton New, was born March 2, 1950 in Somerset, Ky. She departed this life June 17, 2013 in Charlotte, NC.
She is survived by her husband, Harry B. Shadoan. Other survivors include her 3 children, Harry B. and (Holly) Shadoan, William Sean Shadoan, Holly and (Brent) Waskey all of Charlotte, NC. 3 beloved grandchildren, Kayla Shadoan, Ben Waskey and Caroline Waskey. Also surviving are 6 sisters, Lois Cooper, Joyce Loveless and Mary Brotherton, Elaine and (Bill) Gibson and Sue Walters all of Somerset, Ky. JoAnn and (David) Shadoan of Franklin, OH.
She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, Robert “Bob” New, Paul M. New and William “Bill” New and her in-laws, Halsey and Bernice Shadoan.
Sheila was an accomplished Pianist and devoted to her family.
Funeral Services will be held at 3PM Sunday June 23, 2013 at Hankins and Whittington Funeral Home in Charlotte, NC. B
