Michael Ray Via, age 48 of the Bronston community passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013, at his residence.

Michael was born to the late Everett and June Simmons Via on March 17, 1965 in Northfolk Virginia.

He was a Christian and enjoyed playing music and listening to music. He enjoyed people, company dropping by and his family.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Everett “Gene’ Via Jr.

He leaves to mourn his passing his caregiver and loving sister, Tyresa Lynn Jarrell of Bronston,His aunts, Patsy Tenbusch of Michigan, Barbara Via of Virginia, Nieces Crystal Wenz of Somerset Stacey Mead of North Carolina, nephew Kevin Wayne and wife Candice Jarrell of Somerset,

Great nieces, Kara Wenz and Kaleigh Jarrell. Great nephews, Cameron Wenz, Caden Jarrell and Caleb Jarrell. Many special friends including Jimmy Hall, Jason Robertson and Jim Jarrell.

Also survived by many cousins.

Visitation for Michael will be Friday May 3, 2013 from 12 to 2 at the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.

Funeral service will follow at 2 pm Friday May 3, 2013 at the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home With Brother Gary Haist and Sister Sherry Haist officiating.
