Shelia Potter, age 72 of Eubank, Kentucky, passed from this life on Thursday, February 10, 2022 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
She was born on June 30, 1949 in Hazard, Kentucky, daughter of the late Earl and Estelle Blair Day.
She enjoyed gardening and growing house plants, being outdoors, playing horseshoes and playing cards. Most of all, she loved and cherished her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her daughter, Marcia (Shannon) Benjamin of Ohio; her brother, Douglas Day; her sister, Earleen Caudill and her twin sister Sharon Young; and three grandchildren, Jared, Griffin and Chloe Benjamin.
At her request there will be no funeral service.
Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Shelia Potter.
I miss you Mrs. Shelia every day and you will never be forgotten!! I am so glad God blessed me by letting us get to know each other and for me to be a part of your life!! I will cherish our times together, playing cards, playing dice, or just hanging out taking care of it flowers and you teaching me so much especially how to take care of your flowers n plants. And how to stand up for myself thank you so much Mrs. Shelia RIP till I see you again in beautiful heaven!!
