Elizabeth Ann Bratten, age 63, of Somerset, passed from this life on Sunday, August 21, 2016, at her home.
Elizabeth was born on September 20, 1952, in Somerset, daughter of the late James Russell and Alberdean Rose Woody Mink. She was a former restaurant hostess and caregiver to others. Elizabeth enjoyed playing Bingo and watching television. She attended Buena Vista Baptist Mission Church.
She is survived by her son, Joseph Wayne Bratten, of Somerset; her brothers, Otis Mink, of Somerset, and Glen Mink, of Nancy; and her sisters, Carol Jean Phelps, of Science Hill, and Patricia Dean Pennycuff, of Somerset.
Preceding Elizabeth in death are her parents; and her brother, Marion Mink.
Services will be held privately by Elizabeth’s family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations made in honor of Elizabeth to: Hospice of Lake Cumberland, 100 Parkway Drive, Somerset, KY 42503.
May God comfort the family and friends of Libby who was just like a sister to me. I will always love her.
