Linda Lou Barger, age 66, of Somerset, Kentucky passed from this life Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at her home.
Linda was born July 31, 1955 to John Orbin Beck and Margaret Cozart Beck in Eubank, Kentucky.
She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed Kentucky sports, loved gospel music, and loved learning how to play various instruments. She took dance and singing lessons. Linda was a cook for Somerwoods and custodian for the Somerset School District. Her #1 hobby was spoiling her grandkids.
Linda was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Beck; husband, Joe Barger and brother, Orbin Beck and step great-granddaughter, Royal.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Joseph Barger (Christine) of Somerset; daughters, Melinda Bradley (Christopher) and Kristy Wiles (Billy) both of Somerset; brothers, Kenneth Beck (Brenda) of Lexington, Ky; Dwight Beck (Kathy) of Eubank, Ky; stepdaughters, Della Barger, Lori Flores, Pam Weage, step grandsons, Andrew Castle, Cameron Weage, and Michael Weage; grandchildren, Jonathan, Coltan, Josiah, Bryceson, Aiden, Skyler, Breanna, Dakota, Halie, Caitlyn, Evalynn, Jasmyne and Brayden; step granddaughter, Heather Dampier and her children; step great-grandchildren, Isaac, Keshia, Junior; along with special family, Dennis Bradley, Jonathan Bean, Christa Hampton, April Wiles and very special friend, Cheryl Bean.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 12:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral with a funeral service to begin at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Bro. Anthony Turner. Burial will follow in Eubank Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer society.
