Cheryl L. Sears age 72, of Somerset passed from this life on Saturday May 22, 2021 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. Mrs. Sears was born on December 17, 1948 in Monticello, Kentucky to the late Tal and Jamie Gibson Taylor.
Cheryl attended the Bridge Fellowship Community Church. She loved spending time with her family and doing things for others. She also enjoyed gardening, shopping, traveling and spoiling their family dog.
Mrs. Sears was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Sam Taylor; and a sister, Sue Taylor.
Cheryl leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, W. David Sears; daughter, Kimberly Sears of Somerset; brother, Jerry Taylor; and a special niece, Bridgette Drum. Along with a host of extended family and friends, especially her White Tail Run family.
Visitation for Mrs. Sears will be Thursday May 27, 2021 from 11-1 in the chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 1 P.M. with Pastor Joe Altman and Jeff Slone officiating. Interment will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to the Pulaski County Animal Shelter.

my sincere condolences TO DAVID AND KIM AND HER FAMILY AND FRIENDS… SHE WAS A FINE LADY AND AT ONE TIME A MEMBER OF SHOT CREEK CHURCH, WHERE SOME OF THE BEST MEMORIES WERE MADE… MY HEART HURTS FOR THOSE THAT MOURN HER PASSING, MY PRAYERS GO OUT TO EACH ONE.. 🙏🙏
