Thelma Louise Hines Smith age 90, of Monticello, Kentucky passed from this life Friday, May 7, 2021 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. 

Thelma was born June 11, 1930 to the late Vearl Dick and Wilma Hines Dick in Possum Trot, Kentucky.  

She was of the Christian faith and enjoyed playing piano, guitar and cherished her family. 

Thelma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Hubert Smith; sons, Larry Dean Smith; brother, Ernest Dick; sisters, Deloris Mounce, Edith Hall, Ruth Jones, Verna Ard, Connie Dick and granddaughter, Sabra Smith. 

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sons, Richard Lee Smith of Frazier, Ky; Bruce Smith (Brenda) of St. Louis; David Alan Smith of Bronston, Ky; daughter, Sandra Bell (Edward) of Frazier, Ky; sisters, Della Smith (Marconi) of Somerset; Barbara Vaught of Somerset; 12 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.  

Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 11:00 A.M. with Bro. Kevin Hampton officiating, burial will follow in Taylor Family Cemetery in Monticello, Ky.
