Joseph Thomas Lovely, 83, of Somerset went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday July 10, 2012 at 10:16 P.M. at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital after fighting a courageous battle with leukemia. Joseph was born on January 7, 1929 to the late Ruby and Charity Combs Lovely. Mr. Lovely worked as a lineman electrician for different locals in several states for many years. He loved his family and really enjoyed fishing with his wife.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife, Bonnie; sons, Mickey (Wanda) Lovely, Scott Lovely; Daughters, Shelia Luckey, Vonda (Jim) Kioultzopoulos; Grandchildren, Emily (Rick) Hinkle, Mickey Joe Lovely, Jeff Day, Greg Foster, Ryan (Amy) Lovely, Christopher Lovely, Eli Lovely; Great grandchildren, Alex Lovely, Morgan Day, Ian Hinkle, Ayden Lovely, Taylor Lovely, Alexia Lovely, Gavin Lovely, Hailey Lovely, Ava Grace Foster; brother, Charles (Faye) Lovely; sister, Juanita (Charles) Combs, Josephine Jackson, Wilma (Rolland) Eversole, Beatrice (Wendell) Ison, Betty (Bob) Denn, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by daughter, Pam Neely; Parents Ruby and Charity Lovely; brothers, Chester, Willie, Robert, and Ruby Lovely; Sisters, Gracie Lovely and Martha Lou Watts.
Visitation will be Saturday July 14th from 10:00-11:00 A.M. with the funeral services following at 11 A.M. with Pastor David Haddix officiating. Interment will be in the Lakeside Memorial Gardens 4790 West Highway 80, Somerset, Kentucky. All Services will be held in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
