Lucas Mathew Hubbard, age 39, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Monday, January 25, 2021.
He was born on October 18, 1981 in Lexington, Kentucky, the son of Donnie and Pamela Tufts Hubbard.
Lucas was employed at Creative Cabinets in Somerset, and a member of Bethel Christian Church. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed building things. Family was the very most important part of his life and, above all things he loved his family and children the most.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Carl and Reva Tufts, and Coleman and Hester Hubbard.
He is survived by his wife, Amanda Burton Hubbard, whom he married on April 24, 2015; daughters, Paisley Hubbard, Eleanor Hubbard, and Eve Hubbard; stepson, Brayden Fields; stepdaughter, Brianna Hansford; his parents, Donnie and Pamela Hubbard; brother, Marcus (Alexandra) Hubbard; nieces, Mekala Burton, Isla Hubbard, Destiny Bolin, and Alyssa Burton; nephews, Coleman Hubbard, Jacob Dick, Ethan Bolin, Nathaniel Bolin, Mikal Burton, Donnie Coffman, and Andrew Coffman; father-in-law, Lanny Burton and mother-in-law, Dinah (Johnny) Naylor; brother-in-law, Matthew (Amanda) Burton; sister-in-law, Tonya (Roger) Wilson; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 29, 2021 in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Bales officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Memorial Fund for Lucas Matthew Hubbard, C/O Southern Oaks Funeral Home.

Lucus, you was a very good friend to me, helped me out and was there for me buddy wen i needed you the most. Deffently who i would call my new bestfriend. Not knowing that weeks later you would be taken away from us. I stoopes by tosee you and got the saddest news of all. That you was in a wreak and lost your life a week ago.
