Betty J. Lanham

Mrs. Betty J. Lanham, passed away Sunday, May 20th, 2012 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital. She was born October 16, 1935, to Emery Aldridge and Golden Stinnett Aldridge,  who both have preceded her in death.
Betty is survived by her husband Bro. Emmett Lanham; Sons, Wayne Lanham (Annette) of New Egypt, New Jersey, and David Lanham of Somerset. Mrs. Lanham leaves behind one daughter Darla (Nathanial) Denham of Eubank.
Surviving is one sister, Shirley (Johnny) James of Hopkinsville, Ky. Her aunt, Rena Lowery of Nicholasville, Kentucky.  One sister preceded her in death, Lucille Vitai.  Betty was also preceded in death by two brothers, O’Neil Aldridge, and Charles Aldridge.
Great-Grandchildren surviving are Sophia Lanham, Emily Ping, Matthew Ping, Cameron Ping, Adreanna Ping. Grandchildren, Stephen (Jen) Lanham, Elizabeth Lanham, Angie (Sam) Ping, Nathanial “Bub”(Sarah) Lanham.  She is also survived my several nieces and nephews, and her Church Family.
Betty was a devoted Christian and served her Lord thru music,  organ, piano, accordion and loved to sing, and a Sunday School Teacher of Young Adults.   She devoted countless hours to Camp Dove, Tabernacle Christian Academy, and her church the Tabernacle Pentecostal Ministries.  She was a Home Interior Designer for 27 years plus.  She loved flowers and most of all, her family.
Visitation for Mrs. Lanham will be held Wednesday May 23, 2012 after 5 P.M. at the Tabernacle Pentecostal Ministries.  Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday May 24, at the Tabernacle Pentecostal Ministries at 11 A.M.
Burial will be at the Lanham Town Cemetery in Liberty, Kentucky
