Glen T. Gadberry, age 74, of Nancy, Kentucky, passed from this life on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital.
He was born on November 8, 1946 in Pulaski County, son of the late Otha and Flona New Gadberry.
Glen was of the Baptist faith. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He later retired from BB&T Bank as Assistant Vice President. Glen loved to tinker with wood and could make anything from cabinets, knives, guns, and pistol holders.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, James Gadberry; and two sisters, Maxine Crawford and Betty Lou Gadberry.
He is survived by his wife, Wanzie Gadberry; his son, Paul (Lisa) Gadberry, and a granddaughter whom he loved dearly, Emma Gadberry, all of Byrdstown, TN; sister, Geneva Bloomer of Eubank; Byrdstown, TN; sister-in-law, Ruby Gadberry; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends and family.
Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Southern Oaks Funeral Home with funeral services to be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday in the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Dykes officiating. Burial will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Mike Muse, Wayne Gadberry, Jerry Gadberry, Joey Gadberry, Michael Dale Henderson, Scott Gadberry, and Lucas Gadberry.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Emma Gadberry education fund at the Gospel Christian Academy, C/O Jewell Pyles, 4161 Burkesville Rd. Albany, KY 42602.
Southern Oaks Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements for Glen T. Gadberry.

He was my neighbor for the past 27 years. I know he really enjoyed yard sales…and even stopped by once to give advice about yard sales. He will truly be missed…I will have a yard sale in his honor soon!

LA and I are very sorry to hear this bad news about Glen. He will be greatly missed. I am not for sure if we will be able to come or not.LA is scared of crowds because of his heart issues. Prayers for you, Pete and family.
