Ethan Virgil Murrer, 13, entered into eternal glory on July 26th, 2016. 

Ethan is survived by his parents, Erick and Sherri Murrer; his two older brothers Erick Jr. and Austin, and his younger sister Olivia. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Robert and Maria Murrer; and Violet and Frank Cohn. 

Ethan was born in Elkhorn, WI on June 8, 2003.  He was homeschooled from Kindergarten through 7th grade and was a superior student maintaining a 4.0 GPA.   He was a member of the Cumberland Christian Home Educators (CCHE) Homeschool Co-op, where he participated in cross-country, track and field, and Robotics Club.  Ethan participated in art, science, and geography fairs and possessed a love for history.  He enjoyed building with Legos, reading books, and playing Super Mario Smash Brothers.  Ethan had aspirations of becoming a mechanical or chemical engineer.  He was a member of New Beginnings Worship Center.  Ethan was blessed with a servant heart and was a giver, always offering himself to others.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 30^th from 12-3pm at Southern Oaks Funeral Home, 2110 West Highway 914 in Somerset.  A funeral service will follow at 3pm.  Pastor Richard Ramsey will officiate.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Living Bread Soup Kitchen or Bethany House Abuse Shelter in Somerset.
