Dora Devonne Glover, age 72 of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Monday, November 10, 2025 in Lexington.
She was born on January 19, 1953 in Mt Victory, Kentucky, daughter of the late Oran A. and Ethel Mae Dykes Brinson. She was a homemaker and attended Providence Baptist Church. She loved music, dancing, watching dirt track racing and traveling to Gatlinburg. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William A. “Bud” Glover; an infant son, John Allen; brother, Gary Brinson; sisters, Della Mae Vanover and Lucille Oldfield; a nephew, Jason Wells and a step-grandson, Adam Roark.
She is survived by her children, Junior Allen Brinson, Joseph Glover and Amanda (Will) Wright all of Somerset; her granddaughter, Cheyenne Burns; grandsons, Preston Glover and Kylon Slavey; brothers, Orville Brinson of Illinois and Larry Brinson of Somerset; sisters, JoAnn Perkins of Monticello, Jean Vanover, Debbie (Jo) Carrender and Darlene Dykes all of Somerset; step-children, Donnie Glover, Teresa Roark, Danny Glover, Steve Glover, David Glover, Tracy Glover, Marty Glover and Rita (Joe) Gregory and 18 step-grandchildren, many great-grands and great-great-grands. She is also survived by special nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and a special friend, Hank Snow of Decatur, TN.
The family has requested a private service.
